Soshu smiths decide on travel.
The "Ten Students" was an Edo period, fictionalized portrait of the smiths that had migrated to the capitol at Kamakura at the height of Hojo power.
Some worked and learned under Masamune, some were peers and equals.
The "Ten Students" term allows us to know the players of the Soshu school at Kamakura and trace their path to other areas of the country.

With the Hojo destroyed nad the Capitol gone, - the Kamakura honey pot had ended.
Many smiths simply moved on.
