YAMASHIRO

YAMASHIRO KURAMA SEKI

KURAMA YOSHITSUGU: One of the late SANJO line (all HEIANJO KAJI)
associated to KURAMA-DERA Temple near KYOTO. When the O-NIN Wars
set YAMASHIRO smiths on the road, YOSHITSUGU and YOSHISADA found
favorable exile in MINO SEKI. Work and study allowed a background
to found the KURAMA SEKI style mix at their return in MEI-O 1492.

KURAMA SEKI: HEIANJO, MINO style mix. Wide blades,
shallow curve. TAKENOKO TANTO. CHU-SUGUHA, KO-MIDARE,
            GUNOME-MIDARE, YA-no-NE "Arrowhead" and HITATSURA.
