MASAMITSU(1) EI-TOKU (f: SHIGEMITSU): Buddhist name: RYOAMI. Said
to have used CHENG "Administration" form of MASA, but no
swords with this MEI are known. His MEI using CHENG
"Correctness" - walking a straight line, begins in
EI-TOKU 1381. Work period to O-EI 1394. He transferred to

"HACHIYA DARUMA." Maker of wide bodied KATAKIRI BA TANTO.
MASAME HADA. GUNOME HA mixes to an O-MIDARE line.
The 1st MASAMITSU has a large two-character MEI that seems
top heavy and leaning. Like RAI KUNIMITSU, our torch-bearer
is once again, the clumsy waiter. Changed his name in later
career MASAMUNE. MASA form: SEI.
MASAMITSU
