according to Tanobe-sensei. This is right at the time when Tsuta, 2nd
Gen, was selected by Inaba no Kami Aoyama, Head of Osaka Castle, to make
swords for him.
Signature is
Kaku-mei. Kaku-mei are rated O-Wazamono. Later works of Maru-mei are
rated only
Ryo-wazamono.
Style
is classic Toran-midareba which he invented. Mukansa Polish. Habaki
by Tschernega's Father-in-Law who is also Mukansa.
