SHIGA KANENOBU(1) MEI-O: Often confused with NAOE KANENOBU, this is the son of MUROYA KANEARI and brought SEKI style to SHIGA. Worked from BUN-MEI 1469 to MEI-O 1492. Madewide, graceful WAKIZASHI oflittle curve with elongated KISSAKI. TANTO may be gently UCHIZORI. ITAME with MASAME. NIE CHU-SUGU GUNOME-TOGARI with SUNAGASHI and HITATSURA-like O-GUNOME MIDARE. SUGU with KOSHIBA. NIE in the breadth of falling NIOI. KANENOBU NOBUTSUGU EI-SHO (f: SHIGA KANENOBU): A son and student. His years are between EI-SHO 1504 and TAI-EI 1521. OWARI SHIHARUI-GORI YAMADA SHONAI became known as the place of the YAMADA SEKI after the transfer and work of his father, SHIGA KANENOBU. GUNOME-MIDARE with SUNAGASHI and HITATSURA BA.
