Polish, Habaki, and shirasaya are Tokyo #1 of best quality.

From Nihonto-Koza volume 3:   “Besides Nagamori, there are pieces of good workmanship of toko such as SHIZUMORI, SHIZUNORI, and such with the ji of SHIZU, and I once saw a hira-zukuri ko-wakizashi by SHIZUNORI with a wide mihaba, the jitetsu was tight itame, and the hamon was ko-nie deki chu-suguha with ashi and was an excellent piece which stood out from the crowd.”  “Also, as for the Meibutsu Gondo that has been handed down in the Kuroda Ke and is a naginata by SHIZUNORI, the hamon resembles one of the better works of YOSAZAEMON SUKESADA of Bizen, and if I were forced to say so, a little bit of difference can be seen in the jitetsu.  Besides that, not only are there excellent works in TAIRA TAKADA, the range of work is broad, and this is one HA which should be researched by digging in to them much deeper from the standpoint of knowledge of late Koto.”
Tanobe Sensei:  “ Being from Kyushu, some of my favorite works are from Taira Takada.  The skill level is quite excellent.”
